No. Everything you type stays in your browser and goes only to your own AI account. Nothing about your students is sent to or stored on our servers — not the profile, not the topic.

The key is remembered per device and per browser. A different computer, a different browser, or a private window will ask again. Enter it once on each device you use. If it keeps asking on the same computer, your browser is clearing site data — check its privacy settings.

Keys are not case-sensitive but the dashes matter. Check the email address matches the one your key was issued to. If it still fails, email support with your key and we will look it up.

You do not need one. Leave Lesson Plan Template on the built-in Preptrics™ 5-Phase structure and the plan is complete as is. The template field is only for schools that require their own format.

That is deliberate. AI models sometimes produce a plausible but slightly wrong code. Preptrics™ instructs your AI to flag anything it is not certain of rather than invent it, so you can confirm before an administrator reads it.

This happens most often with ChatGPT when the lesson is built around a novel or another copyrighted text — it cannot tell whether you are asking it to reproduce the text. Preptrics™ already instructs your AI not to quote copyrighted work, so simply paste the command again, or add: “Refer to the text by page number only — do not quote it.” Claude and Gemini do not usually raise this. Nothing is wrong with your licence or your plan.

Two different things cause this. If your AI wrote most of the plan and stopped, it hit a response length limit — set My AI Plan to Free plan and Preptrics™ will ask for a version that fits in one response. If your AI says you have reached your limit for now, that is a daily message cap on your free account; your command is still on your clipboard and your configuration is saved, so paste it again when the cap resets. Nothing is lost either way.

Change Level of Detail. Full script is for observation days. Standard gives scripted opening lines with the rest in bullets. Overview fits on about one page. You can also untick Student Materials to drop the appendices.

Page numbers come from Word or Google Docs, not from your AI. In Word: Insert → Page Number. In Google Docs: Insert → Page numbers. Two clicks.

Use the copy button on your AI's reply if it has one. Otherwise click before the first word, scroll down, and shift-click after the last line, then Ctrl+C. In Word use Paste Special → Keep Source Formatting. Google Docs pastes correctly with plain Ctrl+V.

Yes. Fill in a configuration, then Save Current under Saved Configurations. You can keep up to five and load any of them with one click.
